The figures given to the HDA were developed with the assistance of Lindsay Anderson, of the Nevada Commission on Economic Development. The model used codes from the North American Industrial Classification System, which is primarily used for manufacturing and classifies waste management as an administrative service.



  1. Kind of an afterthought, but with landfills being very restricted, closely monitored, and being shut down in California and other areas of the country, what happens to the employees of these companies? Will Recology, being an employee owned company, offer their current employees the chance to relocate here? If so, what happens to all those high paying “local” jobs? And what affect will that have on the local unemployment rate? None.
