Recology battles state over bridge
A drunken driver slammed into a street sweeper at about 2 a.m. the sweeper left the roadway and came to rest in trees on the south side of the bridge’s down slope behind the Yuba County Government Center; the sweeper driver suffered serious injuries. The drunken driver was prosecuted and pleaded no contest to DUI causing great bodily injury.
The folks at Recology Yuba-Sutter have been battling the state in court since 2006 to pay for worker’s compensation benefits paid to its driver and to recover damages to the sweeper.Click Here to read the article.
