HUMBOLDT COUNTY COMMISSION CANDIDATES DISCUSS THE ISSUES September 3, 2010

If you missed the September 3rd political debate/Discussion at the French Ford Middle School, here are four videos that capture the content covered during the debate related to the race for county Commissioner:

Clip #1 [14:16] Jim French, Mel Hummel, Dan Cassinelli and Herb Clarno, make their opening comments and respond to the statement “The million dollars annually Humboldt County will receive from the Recology landfill is beneficial to Humboldt County, and the residents should be grateful.”

Clip #2 [9:28] Jim; Makes additional comments related to the proposed Jungo Road Landfill.
Mel; Humboldt County Commissioners are currently being paid $1,000 per meeting.
Dan; Addresses the county attrition policy.
Herb, Makes additional comments related to the proposed Jungo Road Landfill.

Mel; Comments on living 70 miles from Winnemucca.
