RECOLOGY IN THE NEWS February 6, 2011

Nevadans Against Garbage has recently learned from YuGAG (the group in Yuba County, CA fighting to stop a landfill expansion by Recology in their area) that the proposal has been changed to expand the landfill from 261 acres to 723 acres. Additionally, Recology wishes to up the length of the rail line being built to haul garbage to the landfill from 1 mile to 1.5 miles.
