THIS DOESN’T SMELL RIGHT!

A new group in Portland, Oregon has sprung up to fight Recology’s plans to locate a food scrap recycling facility in their neighborhood. Click here to take a look at what the Springwater Trail Preservation Society has to say.

Here is a video done by KATU Portland explaining the issue.

   After three hours of deliberation, the Portland City Council today agreed to postpone any decision regarding the transfer station in Lents that might accept food scraps with yard debris for composting at other sites.
